GoBiz announces upcoming CalCompetes Tax Credits

The Governor's office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) has announced the 2015-2016 application periods for the California Competes Tax Credit.

The California Competes Tax Credit is an income tax credit available to businesses that want to locate in California or stay & grow in California.

Upcoming Application Periods:

• July 20,2015 - August 17, 2015 - $75M available
• January 4, 2016 - January 25, 2016 - $75M available
• March 7 2016 - March 28, 2016 - $50.9M available (plus any carryover)

Applications are evaluated on a variety of factors, including the number of jobs, compensation paid to employees, economic impacts.
